The scarf blowing over her shoulder saved this shot from the depths of my trashcan. I also like the balance between her and the distant figures in the upper left, but mostly it's the scarf.

I shot several hundred average exposures of average snowboarders and skiers doing average tricks. There's not much one can accomplish on a 5-foot jump.

Then I realized I should be pointing my camera at the crazy photographers laying in the snow underneath said jump. I think these turned out much more interesting.
